Agreed. What is the point of introducing the multiverse to the TV shows if they can't actually have different versions of a character between mediums? I thought that they were going to decide to turn away from this stupid rule since now those who watch the show will consider the movies in a different Earth.

Not sure how someone can mistake Grant Gustin's Flash for Ezra Miller's though. Or how someone can think that Will Smith's Deadshot and Michael Row's Deadshot are the same person.

All they are doing is effecting the TV shows' quality by these assnine decisions.

I agree it's stupid, but when I tried telling my fiancee why people didn't like the episode after we watched it and her immediate response was "Good! People do get confused!" *sigh*

Nevermind that doing it hurts the quality of the show we're enjoying, two people playing the same character is seen as bad to some.. but literally killing characters is the worst freaking way to handle it.

I don't think that's really the issue here.

I think it more has to do with the fact that another studio has the rights to the Suicide Squad now so the CW can no longer use them in their universe.

It's featuring Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, and a rotating member of the League.

People are getting hype because Conroy and Hamill are returning to voice Bats and the Joker, while apparently James Woods is voicing Lex.

I have no reason to be hyped over some goofy Teen Titans Go version of Justice League. Bring back the franchise as a real show. Not this 11 minute episode variety comedy nonsense.

That's actually why I'm not too amped up for it. The two 11 minute short format basically forewarning that it's gonna be pulling a TTG on me.
Also not helped that TTG's Executive producer is coming back.
