Yeah, Mystic Force had some pretty poorly balanced character focus. Nick and Vida got most of the spotlight (which I never minded in Vida's case ), Chip and Xander got some focus, and Madison spent the entire season in the background (hell, she spent half of her one focus episode as a statue). I don't know why Maddie was so heavily sidelined, but I have heard that some of the other actors (or at least Nick's) actively lobbied for her to get more screentime.
