To make an analogy, it's like in Evangelion when they unplug the Evas - there's only so much battery life before they've run out. Odds are the combination uses up a lot of the zords' Enertron reserves, and the power requirements for the combined form are equally high.

Go-Buster Oh is a bit of a disappointment compared to more mobile Robots E.G: Gokaioh, The Time Robos from Timeranger. I can understand they want a more realistic feeling to the mecha but when you only swing a sword around people are going to be let down. Here's hoping Great Go-Buster Oh moves at least a tad more.
