sengoku astray is from SEED right? Or is that Build fighters?

The Astray design is from SEED (technically), but the Sengoku variant is from BF.

And honestly, SEED Astray and the related titles are different enough from SEED and Destiny proper that you can easily enjoy them without having to think too much about the... issues with the main series. In fact they fill in quite a few holes, too.
