I've always wanted to tackle a LED Mirage, have you had a chance to go through the runners? And if so, how's the quality? The only Wave kit that I've built was an old Sakura Wars kit ages ago.

Could someone explain to my why a lot of people don't like Awakening of the Trailblazer. When people throw criticisms at something, I could see where they are coming from. But I don't get what people think is so bad about this movie.

All the political strife, conflict, intervention, everything that came before is rendered meaningless when ultimately the franchise ends by making peace with an alien race instead. The whole show revolved around the wars of mankind and how intervention in them could shape the future. What the movie does is make that whole premise irrelevant, using some pretty goofy aliens as the tool to achieve that piece instead. Mankind never really outgrew it's issues, we just have aliens now. And while the show was pretty much always the Setsuna show, the movie goes even further into making the rest of Meisters seems irrelevant to the plot by making him the one who assimilates and makes piece with the ELS. It really just feels like for every good thing the show did, the movie trampled on it and made it ultimately less important. Personally I also absolutely hated the movie Gundam designs. Just silly over the top stuff. I saw the movie once and just never had any desire to watch it again, completely soured me the first time.

I've only glanced at it but it looks like it should be a fun kit. This is my first injection mold LED Mirage. All the other FSS kits I have are resin and vinyl garage kits and a few lead miniatures.

The rest are a mixed bag...Raphiel for example would be so much better with out the ridiculous hat cannon that he has. |
