To be fair when I got into it, I really dug it. My favorite parts of the show were when the gang got tricked into assassinating the politician and it resulted in a free for all fight for a couple of episodes and the final fight in space. Character wise I liked most of them (Quatre being my favorite), though some...yeah, they aren't near Asuka level of annoyance, but they're up there (Heero and Relena especially).
There is one problem I have with the show though, they bullshitted Lady Une's return at the end. Apparently close range laser gunshots put you in a coma when it would in all actuality kill you. That aside though, Wing was just meh. I liked it, but it isn't one I'd probably buy the set of and watch again for a good while. Now then, I resume waiting impatiently for my DVD of MS Team to come in. Then I guess I'll attempt to finish G (lord give me the strength).

Also why don't you like G? |

I wasn't impressed by the first episode at all outside of the Gundam designs. I don't like the way the characters/animation look, I don't like any of the characters presented, I can't really get into the music, and while I like the idea of the story, it just isn't pulling me in. Now true this is only the first episode, and I intend to at least watch the first five. But G at the moment is a show I'm not really having any high hopes for.

I like Noin, probably my favorite character outside of the Gundam pilots. I wouldn't say she's worth watching the show though simply because she's just kinda there. I mean when she's prominent she's great but most of the time she's just standing off to the side. As for a full recommendation of Wing, I'd say if you like the designs a lot (like I do) give it a watch to see them in action. And I guess if you want to see the reason Gundam took off here, give it a watch then? I just can't fully recommend it.

I thought Endless Waltz was fantastic, but the actual series is pretty average at best.

I'm watching EW later tonight. I'll post my series on it later. But yes, Wing the show is simply average. I forgot to put it in my main post, but I really got tired with how many times people would switch sides and how many new sides would pop up. Shit just got tiring and confusing.

And Endless Waltz has been watched, thus my Wing viewing is fully complete. How was the flick? Action and music were good, the animation was damn impressive at times. Most of the re-designs are pretty cool (I don't like the lighter colored Sandrock and can't really dig the all blue Heavyarms). That's where the positives end. I thought the story was stupid. Like we're going from dramatic war opera to "Old guy brainwashes kid." It's just stupid. I mean I guess it's cool to get final closure on the story and to hear about Operation Meteror, but it could've been done much better IMO.
So yup, Wing is done. My journey with you was rather meh. Hopefully your brothers and sisters will produce at least one series that'll get me to enjoy it as much as I do Build Fighters (MS Team is the only one I'm fairly excited to watch).

I thought Endless Waltz was terrible. But that's just me.
