I was actually thinking about this a lot. It would be pretty unique to actually portray dinosaurs in a modern way, here. Break some of the misconceptions proven wrong by new findings over the last several years. Feathers would be an awesome design choice.
Why start over? Here's the rundown of how I though it worked that I posted a few pages ago. I'll try to add a few more details to make things more clear: - Make sure the magnifying glass dial is turned all the way to the left. Pull the lever on the right side to open up the jaws. - Insert an Amber Stone and push the lever, closing the jaws. The stone slides into the base of the Driver and under the view of the magnifying glass. HENSHIN! From this point on, Paleo is transformed: - Turn the glass to select one of the dinos in the amber stone. Doing this opens springs the jaws open again, but the lever stays closed, and the stone stays inside. The magnifying glass sort of disconnects the jaws from the lever system. From this point, when the jaws are "chomped" they spring back open. - Quickly chomp once to activate the selected dinosaur power. - While a dino power is active, chomp twice for a special attack. - You're also able to turn the glass to a different Dino and chomp down once to switch powers. - Finally, turn the glass all the way to the right end of the dial and chomp twice to activate the SUPER SPECIAL COMBINED HISSASTU FINISHER. - Turn the glass all the way back to the left and pull the lever to spit out the Amber Stone. Form here there's two options: 1.) To switch forms, pull out the stone and replace a new one before pushing the lever back in - closing the jaws and initiating the next transformation. 2.) To deactivate the transformation, remove the stone completely and push the lever - closing the jaws without an Amber Stone inside.

Here's an idea for the forms
Therapod- fighter type excels in hand to hand. Switching Dinos in the dial changes his body abilities t rex- super strength , spino- bladed forearms, raptor- fast hitting claws and the last one- fire power. Quadruped- gladiator type with heavy armor. Switching dials gives him various melee weaponry. Tricera- horned sheild. Stego- multi bladed broadsword, brachio - extending lance, anky- bone club Winged - flight type switching gives him different styled wings Aquatic- long range/gunner- switching gives him differemt guns/ammo DAMN TYPING ON A MOVING BUS IS REALLY HARD!!! |

See, I'd like something like that. I like to think of Thero Form having sort of a savage brute force, close combat fighting style. I'm not opposed to the sword being switched for arm blades on Spinosaurus because of that.
I especially like the idea of Quadro being built like a tank with a variety of heavy melee weaponry based on dinos who look armed (or I suppose defended) to the teeth themselves. Although I think if Thero is going to have a power-up that exclusively gives him an elemental force, Quadro should have that too. I'm thinking Brachio should play that role, giving him some kind of earth power, seeing as it's the least armed looking out of the four. |

I'm loving these ideas guys then one of the Winged ones could have wind/lightning based powers (Ala Pteragordon) and the Aquatic one (Preferably a Megalodon) could use water based powers. Also designs are taking longer than I thought to work out I'll try for tomorrow night instead.

Okay Rollout, I'm good with the belt. Let's do this therapod thing now. We have T. Rex, Velociraptor, Spinosaurus, and Carnotaurus. Let's expand from those four together.

Interesting thing, sauropods like a Brachiosaurus are part of the same grouping as theropods like the T-Rex, specifically the Order Saurischia with all other dinosaurs belonging to Ornithischia.
