Hm. Different tastes. I'd been a little lukewarm on the show, but the most recent five or six episodes have turned my opinion around.

I love that this Sentai name is relatively clear in some ways, and invites all kinda of speculation in others.

Don't expect Kyuranger to be superior than Zyuohger because I fear Red Ranger of Kyuranger will be another generic SCREAMING Red Ranger like Daigo, Right and Takaharu

You know, Immature Red Ranger with lack of character development because Toei love those type of Rangers

Look at Gentaro. He was SCREAMING Kamen Rider and he didn't really have a great character development. He was same character

If Kyuranger will have those Screaming Red Ranger trope, I will drop the show like I did with Ninninger! I drop that show around 5th episode! I just can't stand Takaharu's acting. It was both horrendous and ludicrous!

Well, we'll have to see. Going from Gokai to Zyuoh, we had Marvelous, a calm bastard, Daigo (AKA super god), a loud, burning hot red, Right, who was just kind of immature, Takaharu, a very, very, very loud, supernova levels of burning red who was also immature, and Yamato, a calm, collected red.

I don't think Right is really a burning red, so it's not exactly like the last 5 years has been screaming, non stop yelling rangers, so we don't really have much to go on.

Wonder what the gimmick will be. Every series needs one now, and Megaranger existed before that trend so they can't harken back to it. I mean gimmick-wise. Honestly, I'm hoping since it's space-themed they have a ship. Maybe one comprised of everyone's mech like Timeranger. That'd be neat to see again.

Can't agree there. Zyuohger may not be perfect and the teens really dragged on as the villains have done absolutely nothing, but it is easily the best series since Gokai. It has a unique flavor to it that the horrible mecha don't bother me anymore.

Yeah, don't pay attention to the perfect cell guy. He hasn't watched any of Zyuohger, but all of his Sentai-related posts are about how bad Zyuohger is. Which is obviously, BS, because Zyuohger is at worst an above-average Sentai and at best one of the best Sentai of the past 20 years.
