I almost want to say that Saban pitched the idea of "Power Rangers" but as a different name with Jetman but it failed bad. He tried again the next year using Zyuranger and it caught on due to the dinosaur combining mecha and such.

The pretty much excepted idea/rumor is that Jetman almost became the first Power Rangers season. But they ended up changing to Zyuranger. The reasoning for doing so never been made clear. Hey, I'm very much against the Dairangers being in SMF and have been since that first clip

As for this, its sloppy editing and could have easily been avoided, but after watching the clip again and reading through the thread I've become a lot less bothered about it. It's pretty blink and you'll miss it (and unless you know what you're looking for its just a pink blur), but like has been pointed out there have been far more glaring production errors in things in the past.

Until Saban randomly has a Japanese kid next to the Megazord in a fight sequence again, things like this seem minuscule

Sorry! I just remember trying to explain why something utterly inexcusable was inexcusable and found myself trying to ski into a headwind. But yeah, you're correct, that is my whole point. Is this editing thing shitty? Sure. Is it completely unnoticeable? Yep. Have you watched In Space recently? God I wish I hadn't.

Considering Super Megaforce has got enough glaring noticeable inexcusable issues to drown Bragigas with, most of which are defended(?!) this thread is just....are we on KO-35 because fuck me logic went out the window.

Well it did, but it seemed my best efforts actually paid off this time because pretty much everyone on the last page or so has realised 'oh yeah, this isn't a big deal in itself or in the grand scheme of things either, oops!'.
