There's just something that doesn't sit right with me about changing wings. It just somehow seems less inventive than the other forms so far... I dunno. I'll think about it.

I agree with Rollout. The wings are just weird, but then again we don't have a better idea.

Well, considering how pretty much all of the winged dinosaurs had the same wing type, only difference was span, I think it's rather hard to come up with something. So, instead on changing the wings, why not give Paleo one set of wings on his hack, a set on each wrist, and a set on his ankles. The changing thing could be the material used, or make this a completely elemental type of form. Each form is just a shift of elemental alignment.

Just to make a point on things we've decided:
Thero form: Element - Fire Changes: Armor Dinos - T-rex - "muscle" armor for increased strength - Utahraptor - shin armor and feet claw, increased speed - Spinosaurus - lower arms armor, forearms blades - Carnotaurus - glowing spiked back armor, fire strikes Finisher: adds all of the armors and Paleo performs a Rider kick with fiery projections of the dinos Quad (or Quadro?) form Element - Earth Changes: Weapon Dinos - Triceratops - spiked shield - Stegosaurus - greatsword - Brachiosaurus - extendable lance - Ankylosaurus - quake hammer Finisher: weapons combine into a giant sword and Paleo performs a Rider slash together with rocky projections of the dinos Aqua form: Element - Water and Ice Changes: Attachments into a main gun Dinos - Plesiosaurus - sniper mode (long range) - Ichtyosaurus - harpoon mode (melee) - Megalodon - gatling mode (mid range) - Mosasaurus - ice blast shotgun mode (short range) Finisher: all the attachments combine into the main gun and Paleo performs a Rider shooting together with watery projections of the dinos Is that it? ALTHOUGH. We got a hand-to-hand fighter, a melee weapon fighter, and a range fighter... What about (essentially, not literally) a mage archetype? Like. Thero's Carnotaurus gives him fire punches and kicks. Quadro's Ankylo lets his make earthquakes with his hammer. Aqua's gun lets him shoot streams of water and the modes give him ice attributes. But what if Winged/Aeria form is purely elemental? It could legitimately "bend" the elements rather than harnessing them in a specific way. That could justify it as the mid-season upgrade or something, but doesn't make the other forms obsolete. He could have Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind typed wings that on top of allowing flight each let him control the element unconditionally. YEAH, it sort of devalues Carnotaurus specifically, but that's only a natural victim of evolution. For balance, this form could lack ANY heavy armor so that the other forms aren't too terribly affected by its existence. It wouldn't be durable enough for hand-to-hand like Thero, as tanky or equipped as Quadro, and doesn't posses the range of Aqua. BUT it's powerful enough in its own right to sort of be the equivalent to Formula, Kachidoki, All-Dragon, etc; the second to final form. Quote:
-T-Rex: Increases physical strength and adds armor plating to thigh and bicep. -Raptor: Increases speed and adds armor to the shin and claws to the feet. -Spino: Adds armor to the lower arm equipped with forearm blades. -Carnotaurus: Adds glowing armor spikes to the back and allows fire punches and kicks. Finisher: Adds all of the armor parts on together and performs a fiery rider kick. Last edited by IXRollOutIX; 08-14-2015 at 11:48 PM.. |

Now, some suggestions:
I think the finishers should be called (name of the form) Savage, like: Thero Savage, Quad Savage, Aqua Savage, etc... It fits the theme of the Rider and it sounds cool :3 As for the Aero form, I think it would be nice if he yes changed wings and flying attributes, but in different parts of the body, like on the forearms, on the back, on the legs and on the arms as a whole, kind of how GreenPsychoRanger suggested. About the dinos (actually, pterosaurs), I'd like to suggest: Pteranodon - arms wings - supersonic flying Pterodactyl - forearms wings - bladed boomerangs Tapejara - legs wings - glider transformation Quetzalcoatlus - back wings - lightning generation Finisher: a bit like Thero form. All the wings would appear simultaneously and, with an uppercut, Paleo would send the enemy to the sky. Then he starts spinning, creating a thundery tornado, and flying to where the foe is, to then deliver an electric charged Rider punch together with electrical projections of the dinos. |

SNIP! All the other forms are right, but this isn't quite. |

I like Psycho's idea too. I think it's a pretty good idea. So far we have three people(including me) on board for Psycho's idea.
For the mid season upgrade it would have to be something else because aerial has to represent wind/sky. My suggestions for the aerial dinos are pteranodon, tapejara, archaeopteryx, and microraptor (please look up images of this dinosaur, it's an interesting one...) Quetzalcoatlus is too weird looking in my opinion. Pterodactyl and pteranodon are pretty much the same thing besides their time periods, locations, and size, so let's just use one or the other.

The way I see it, unless we come up with a GREAT idea for both a different mid season upgrade AND a final form on top of that, we should just stick with the four we've got and an ultimate final. That'll also leave some room for any other secondary riders we might think up later. |
