That's just it.

When I think Power Rangers, I think teens in bright coloured outfits fighting monsters and saving indescriminate Japanese cities in America with giant robots and cool weapons.

I didn't see any Power Rangers in that trailer. Everthing has to be DARK AND SERIOUS and it's getting hyper-old for me.

Seriously, this seems like it should be it's own thing and not MMPR. The girl reminded me a little too much of Black Widow, the "Are the Morphers ready" line to me sounded forced, like even the actor knew that what he was saying was ridiculous, and the effects, while flashy (which is something we know happens in Power Rangers often) felt too overdone.

This looks like a trailer every single cheap, campy, low budget, syfy channel wannabee, action movie ever made. As I've said from the beginning I welcome the moment Saban shafts this whole project
