If you'd asked me this a few months ago I would have instantly gone for the Zeo Megazord, but after rewatching the series I have a new found love for the Super Zeo zords and can't really decide between the two. So I'm going to have to take the middle ground and vote for the Red Battlezord
![]() The Warrior Wheel was good and Auric was way underused, but I have almost no love for Pyramidas whatsoever. Its cool when its rolling around on its own, but the Zeo ultrazords are among the worst there are. Its just a giant hollow robot housing the rest of the components on shelves out of sight. (The carrier mode ultrazord is much better, but that was used once in the show and did no damage whatsoever).

I've always loved the Zeo Megazord. Its helmet changing opinion is just too cool and I like how it has a overall blue look to it.
Red Battlezord is a close second. It's a giant red boxing robot, plus I LOVE the theme, "Red Puncher"! |

The Zeo Megazord is still probably my favorite Megazord ever, although I have always loved Pyramidus, too.

I went with Super Zeo Megazord. I like the way the different shapes fit together when combined. Also I like Symmetrical Megazords.

The Zeo Megazord.
The Red Battlezord was cool. But I never liked the punching gimmick, I didn't like the cannon it shot out of into battle, and the combination was weak. it wasn't even a combination. They stood back to back and Red's arms laid on Zeo's shoulders, and the head spun down to form a helmet. Pyramid was a brick. Usually only Sentai toys are bricks. Okay, all Sentai Mechs are bricks. But this one was a brick on screen. A very large, very yellow, brick. And again the combination. What The Fudge Ripple Ice Cream. All the zords are held inside, so it's "Ultimate" combination is exactly the same as it's regular mode. And the carrier mode is just weak. Super Zeo. That thing was.. Well, it was certainly a Megazord. Ah, now we come to the true pile of steaming biscuits in this series. The Warrior Wheel. How amazingly under-whelming this thing was. It was a Tire, first off. Which made no damn sense with the rest of the motif of Zeo/Oh. And I blame Bandai and Toei for that. It might've worked with Turbo/Car, possibly. Notice the head even looks a little like Turbo Mega's? Just throwing that out there. And the toy... Oh my god the Toy. The 'auto-morph' was weak, and even for a sentai toy the thing was a brick. And Auric. Auric... Auric... Aur-freaking-ic. You know why Ninjor worked? The voice, for one. I didn't like it but it made the character memorable. But he also DID something. He gave them their power, he helped them, he offered advice. Auric? Auric was a giant damn statue that moped and whined and was generally freaking useless. You know what the best part of the toy was? The Key it came with. Ah, but Zeo Mega. I adored that design. One of my favorites by far. I loved the motif, I loved the chariot zords, I loved the interchangable helmets that gave them new powers. I loved everything about Zeo Megazord. It's the true gem of this series. |

As a kid, I remember liking the Super Zeo, but I can't remember why. Nowadays I consider it the weakest design of the Zeo lot. Eitherway, I still like 'em all so I figure I'll give my vote to Warrior Wheel since he might not get a vote otherwise. Now someone give Auric some love.
