Review: Gokai-Red Helmet by Aniki

Well, after much anticipation, I finally have it in hand: The Gokai-Red helmet by the helmet maker Aniki!!

Aniki has been known as the helmet maker to go to, so when he offered up a chance in his cheap helmet run, I knew I couldn't pass up the chance, I paid for the helmet in October, and received it today in March. I knew before hand that the helmet was going to take longer than usual and was perfectly fine with it. It was the subsequent issue where Aniki marked the helmet as shipped, when in fact, it had be sitting in his shipping agent's office that entire time. Aniki's communication leaves a lot to be desired and sometimes down right upsetting, but in the end he delivers and a pretty good product with little flaws.

Here is the box, a lot smaller than I was expecting

Aniki has placed newspaper for cushions, which I had already removed prior to this shot

Minor paint flaws

It's a TIGHT FIT! I had to remove most of the paddings (but then again, I have a HUGE head)

I had asked Aniki to not use the clasp since I wanted to add magnets for the seamless look, but now that I have it in hand, I think the clasps are the only way the helmet will stay on my head

Although much paint are already lost after one wear

its not perfect but tis pretty awesome none the less! I would love more information on how to order one from Aniki.
