I think I can see unpainted die-cast. The crest, fists, thighs and the emblems on the knees.

The sword also appears fully painted.

And perhaps it's fully molded on both sides like the Samurai Megazord's sword?

Seriously, what was up with that? Why did the cheaper, highly gutted toy have the better molded sword?
