One of my biggest fears is for Kamen Rider going mainstream in the west. Cause what happens is the more popular it gets, certain "people" catch on to it, and then start harassing the creators to start making weird changes to it, thus losing what made the show appealing in the first place. This is important to me, as everything made in the west sucks now because of them. I'm just worried that the same thing that happened to Star Wars is going to happen to Kamen Rider.

It was really unexpected to see that come up on Twitter. I know Gail Simone likes KR (& other toku), but this really proves how far it's spread without any sort of official release. I hope Toei is taking note of how profitable Kamen Rider can be if they let people have it.

To be honest, I remember hating it when they discussed about 2017 Power Rangers sequel, and they want to make Tommy a girl just because.

It was pretty surreal seeing KR trend on Twitter yesterday.

I mean, it's pretty great to see the Kamen Rider franchise validated in such a public way, for sure. No doubt. But I feel like an admitted superhero obsessive who got his start in the low-budget rubber-suits world of Troma Entertainment is maybe not the most surprising Kamen Rider fan? |

There's so many people posting MMPR/Zyuranger gifs in the replies and it's the funniest thing

to quote a reply to me in Pojo "Japan doesn't really care about Social Justice that much" that's really only a thing if we get an American adaptation
