Problem is it looks nothing like a dump truck. Dump trucks aren't just boxes on tiny little wheels. It's clearly just a gaping hole of a torso with wheels slapped on and a grill hanging off the back of the arm. :/ There's nothing creative or intuative, it's only a dump truck because it's what tehy called it.

I will say though, and I've said it before, this gives me new appreciation for Kyouryuger's mecha and BOA's translation of them. Hell, those were actually better in some case. (especially where the clips are concerned)
Comparatively, ever since ToQger, it seems like Sentai has been deliberately taking a page out of their playbook and making chunkier, simpler robots designed to actually be something a kid can smash around without instantly breaking something important.

To be honest, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

I still like it and would like to get the Rumble Tusk Megazord or one that has the other otomonin like UFO or Surfermaru because making it all one color scheme will help me get used to some design changes.
But what scares me is that quality control lssues. IF ANYONE GETS THIS TOY PLEASE TELL ME IF IT AFFECTS YOUR COPY TOO Also just realized Bison King will most likely be repainted as purple for Surfermaru if they do plan to do a repaint for each otomonin. |

This is literally the opposite of the Dino Charge zords.
NS (from the video): -Fine amount of paint apps -Low quality plastic -Terrible mold DC: -Bare minimum paint apps -Good quality plastic -Really good molds (At least the main megazord and Ptera zord that I have) |

At least for the Rumble Tusk the dump truck can be considered to be a chariot for Paonmaru to pull around since they are both green

For me its more the fact that they didnt give us a new face/head for the Dragon mode. So he ends up with his small dragon zord head sticking out. It didnt look great in the original version but it looks worse here. Also, I have no clue why the train doesnt include the pelvis.
Totally agree. And the zord builder part on the T-Rex shoulder helped a ton for the Titano Zord combination instead of the cluncky add ons needed for the Japanese version. Quote:
And just wondering guys, if I want to discuss the Ninja Steel BOA line, is there a thread for it yet? I found a review for the Tusk zord and dont know if I should make anew thread or not Since they look the same size as the Japanese versions I wonder if we can use the Japanese versions of the auxliliary zords to fit in the BOA versions. |

I think that the BoA will serve my purpose, though the breaking of parts on Balt's video is a bit concerning.
However, my main complaint about Ninninger was the huge ninja star "hats" because of the batteries/lights/sounds. So I'm actually happy that the BoA stars don't have them at all. I know, I know, I'll just get it out of the way so you guys don't have to: "Heathen! Heathen!" |

Finally got around to watching this "review", and wow... that was one REALLY whiny video. I'm not even going to bother with the comparison video, as the guy already made it very clear what he thinks of this compared to the BoJ version.
Seriously though, picking up the Megazord by it's lower legs and tilting it's body back causing the knees to bend isn't the same as it not being able to stand on it's own... It's definitely not perfect, but from what I've seen, I do prefer this to the original. Also, I think I'll be sticking to Bruno's reviews and the occasional ones Andre does.

The downside is for those who don't want to import and were hoping to have virtually the same item but for a lower price are going to get pieces that are changed, sometimes for the worst, when compared to the original. And for those frustrations, I can relate.
