If I've learned anything as a comic fan, it's that there's always a catch. I think Wally West will be Wally West by name only, perhaps with a few of his character traits preserved.

It probably will be a new Wally but I am still excited for him if he stays the same. I mean I kind of liked the new Superboy more than the old Superboy.

Yes, but that's still what, 4 Batman titles? And even more if you count all the Bat-family titles.

Oh really? I know from the sudden Batgirl side story that its doing this Gothtopia arc or whatever but other than that I only checked out the first issue of it. Guess that makes a little more sense if true then.

The best way to celebrate Batman's anniversary is to have a monthly series written by different writers in the style of each era. Of course, for the 70s they can have Neal Adams and Denny O'Neil work on an issue or two. Have Marv Wolfman write the issues representing the 90s.

Just have it be in the same vein as those Retroactive comics they did a few years ago.

Or they just need to start putting out collections of everything from the 70s.
