Bought a couple Gundam Universe figures, because i'm kinda dumb, spending $25 on these rather than saving it for Metal Builds.

Ez8 and Wing Zero EW

And I bought Firefly on eBay, because I'm even dumber than I thought above. Got it for not quite double retail.

the EZ8 is one of my all-time favorite Gundam suits. I heard that figure is really good for the price too.

Wing on the other hand, I feel like I have so many other renditions of it. I hope we see some of the other OVA suits in the Gundam Universe line.

They're both fine. Of the three I've opened, RX-78-2 is my favorite, but I'm also biased as it's the best suit.
Honestly, I'd much prefer a Metal Build of Ez9, but Gundam Universe is a fine enough line, no reason to complain about it at all.

Man, the idea of buying non-model kit mech figures just seems so weird to me now

They make a lot of them though. The Robot Spirits line is pretty darn great. I don't collect it because I like 1/100 scale, but then decided I wanted some cheaper ones I could play with at work, and also a smaller line so I wasn't tempted to get as many

So, let me gather up what I got this month.

Gundam Markers earlier, which I'm using to fix up my Ex-Aid so-do

Not perfect, but I've never touched gundam markers before today so I'm happy with it for now.

Studio Series Hot Rod to make my Titans Return Hot Rod look like someone's unwanted child.

And the Drive Lockseed/Type Fruits Car, to help my Drive Legend Rider collection that's just this and the Tridoron Ridewatch.

Also bought some headphones, which are so much nicer compared to earbuds.
