I noticed at Dalong.net that the MG EW Proto-Zero(Wing 0) lacks an iternal frame. It's kind of like a super articulated 1/100 HG model to me but branded as an MG. I dunno, it could just be me. Thoughts? Also from what I saw in the instruction manual scans, there's no ABS, just polystyrene all throughout.
![]() It has an internal frame, but like the Age 1, the internal frame is a bit on the simplified side of the spectrum. Last edited by blastmonkey; 11-05-2013 at 05:37 PM.. |

This way you save your hard work. If you do want to strip the silver paint, a good solvent to use is Windex or any of its analogs. let it soak over night and then use an old toothbrush to remove the paint. It won't eat away at the plastic like actual paint strippers will. Additionally, it might be easier to disassemble the shield and paint the white piece silver when separated. Thin the silver with a little bit of water and apply several thinner coats of silver and that should help keep the paint from "clumping" up as much. Again, great start. Keep it up. |

It's a good start and it's wonderful that you're keeping with the spirit of the showing and giving it your own flair. I don't own the kit yet, but looking at the manual and info page at Dalong's, I have a few thoughts:

If you dip a cotton swab in some rubbing alcohol, squeeze off the excess, it should do nicely when cleaning the white part of the shoulder pad.

The pain never dries, it is always there, in my heart, reminding me of lost or broken toys.
