If the movie has good action, I might give it a watch as a way to kill a few hours. I just thought it might be terrible across the baord.

Blade 29/30/31
While the show was hella weird and confusing so far, things seem to get really interesting by now, even though the Upgrades didn't impress me that much. It's a pity that Tachibana has got nothing to do since he joined Kenzaki and the others again and Mutsuki disappearing for some episodes and now reappearing was also pretty strange, but I do like that Hajime got a little character arc in the past few episodes and apparently, we finally get to see some character development for Kenzaki too in the next few episodes. So far though, the characters that shine are still Hajime and Koutarou. |

Super-1 Episode 35: This was a very different episode of Super-1, the main reason I say this is that the monster of the week took a back seat to Professor Ghost and Super-1. Professor Ghost created a poison gas with the help of a kidnapped Scientist, who manages to escape and gets saved by the Junior Rider Squad and Super-1. I love the Junior Rider Squad because I thought they'd just be annoying but these kids are half the reason Super-1 saves the day, they are very helpful and useful. I love how Kazuya just breaks out of the shackles and transforms because he is a cyborg, I don't think regular Shackles would hold him. In the end the monster of the week is super easily defeated, even Super-1 said he wasn't qualified to be his opponent and he really wasn't. Professor Ghost is very creepy and definitely has a vendetta against Super-1 more now than before. Less than 15 episodes left I can't wait to see what happens next.
Super-1 Episode 36: Most annoying monster ever! I never wanted a monster to get his ass kicked so bad than this annoying clown scissors guy. Now Commander Onibi's plan to cause chaos through controlling scissors was something else but still the monster would just sing this song over and over again and it was driving me nuts. My favorite part was when Super-1 proved rock really does beat scissors and through giant rocks at him. Well then he kicked him, melted him, and kicked him to oblivion so that made me really happy. Kamen Rider Black 10, 11, 12
Y'know...for an episode called "Where's Nobuhiko?", in 10 Kotaro only ponders his whereabouts for almost literally five seconds before something else comes up. Other than that, pretty fun set of episodes. But one thing I keep forgetting since it's been a while since I saw the first couple of episodes, Kotaro's sisters and I think his uncle(?) both know about the Gorgom and that he's Black, right? Now for these Gorgom's plot... For 10: First, we cause a series of car crashes, and gather a bunch of ambulances to pick up the crashees from the wreckage. Only these ambulances aren't REALLY ambulances. And their drivers aren't REALLY going to take them to a real hospital. Instead we'll use their gratitude towards us healing them to get them to join are militia, which will spread seeds of dissent throughout all countries of the world! My favorite line in this episode had to be when the militia commander/fake hospital worker saw that Kotaro wasn't badly hurt and said, "Oh, looks like your wound is nothing serious. ...So hey wanna join a militia?" But man, for as over-the-top as the Golgom are, they sure havemassive connections everywhere. People really wanna be made into a mutant, it seems. I mean yeah, they might look kinda cool like the lizard one in 10, but is it worth it, when you know there's a chance of a cyborg grasshopper dude kicking you to death? Anyway, the dastardly plan for 11: Oh...uh...right, we forgot to buy food feed our mutant army. Looks like their killing eachother for scraps of food. We should probably send Cactus mutant to fix that by planting mysterious cacti all over the surrounding region. Anyone pricked by the pins of these cacti will slowly and painfully mutate until plant grow out of their bodies. These plant will grow fruit and these fruit will go on to feed our mutants! MWAHAHA! When, I compared the breakdancing street gangs in episode 9 to Gaim, I was joking. But this...this episode seems like it directly inspired more than a few aspects of Gaim, I think. I would say something about there being a Cactus Mutant, but they do sometimes have at least one plant one. The bat mutant really is their most reliable mutant. If only, because he's smart enough to run away from the guy who kicked so many of his brethren to their fiery deaths. They actually remembered Nobuhiko for ten seconds this time! But really, I suppose Kotaro's so busy superheroing and protecting others form the Golgom, he doesn't have time to search for Nobuhiko. Either that, or...the one thing the Golgom are actually consistently good at is hiding their hideout. So, I guess this episode's ending explains why the Golgom don't have hundreds of mutants stored up. Then there's 12: There was no real wacky plan here. It was pretty straightforward actually. They had a scientist build them a super-cycle for their army, but like Kotaro's stepfather, he had second thoughts when they planned on using his son as their test subject so they had him and his daughter-in-law killed while his son and grandson escaped. I do like how they instantly assumed that "Kotaro Minami! He MUST be after Road Sector too!" But...that's not too much of a stretch hoenstly. So Kotaro's got another bike. Road Sector's pretty cool. Still like Battle Hopper better. So...I guess he'll just switch bikes now whenever he feels like it, then? |

Super-1 Episode 37: I love the Junior Rider Squad they are so awesome in helping Super-1 defeat Jin Dogma. Well it was interesting to see a Jin Dogma Super-1 clone with a yellow scarf reminiscent of the Shocker Riders I am going to guess. I love the location of this episode it was very fun to look at. I loved seeing Tani, Choro, and Kazuya go Star Wars here and dress up as the Soldiers. Interesting that it was two Commander Onibi episodes back to back. I really am excited for when Super-1 Fights against them head Generals that should be so much fun.

Finally have some free time again, so I'm picking Black RX back up. Episode 23 is pretty much just 20 minutes of Japanese children being assholes.
