Unfortunately, Majestic Prince had a somewhat slow start and a rather hated character designer, known for such shows as Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Just curious, did you watch the entire series? Because the first episode was flat out boring (too much techno babel), but then the second episode was really intersting.

I liked what I saw of Gargantia, only got through about three episodes though because I'm an unfocused douche when it comes to shows. But I thought the actual mech whose name escapes me right now was damn ugly and considering how small it appeared from the outside always made me wonder how it was so huge on the inside. I guess I should ask the Doctor about that.

Yeah, I finished it. I thought the series had interesting set up and the world it built up was great, but it spent almost the entire first 8 episodes doing almost nothing, then it picked up the plot about the squids actually being humans who had "evolved" which ended up not really going anywhere, and then the last few episodes were spent on a plot that was somewhat interesting, but clearly not meant to be wrapped up as quickly as it was.

Honestly I think had the series been given two seasons, and gone at the same pace it did, it could've turned out great, actually it almost seemed as if they were told they were going to get two seasons, and then at the last minute someone told them it was only one season.
