I didn't mean to come off as dub hater. People are fine on what they like and everyone is free to enjoy whichever version of the series they want. The Japanese version is the original language of the series and I do think more people should give it a chance. Once you get used to it, people should be fine with it. The Japanese voices are the voices for these characters since they are made in Japan. It's no different with other franchises like Lupin the 3rd, Gundam, Naruto and several others.

You have to think about it, that is a game. Sean probably wasn't given any context as to how he should voice the character. He was probably just told, "Think evil Goku" and that was it.

True, but I hope he will change it over time. The angry SSj4 voice does not work for me. My favorite voices for Adult Goku are:
Masako Nozawa Peter Kelmais or Modern day (2010 - Now) Sean Schemmel (Both are great in my opinion) Ian James Corlett (Not bad, but too heroic in my opinion. Sounds too much like a American superhero) Kirby Morrow (Okay I guess) 1999-2005 Sean Schemmel (Pretty bad. Way too amateur at the time in 1999-2003. Gotten a bit better with the Ultimate Uncut/Remaster dub, but still not very good ) Steven Blum (His voice is not too bad. I blame the bad voice direction in Final Bout, not his acting skills) Jeffrey Watson (Meh) Jeremiah Yurk (Sounds pretty bad)

And sorry but no I have listened to both and still vastly prefer the English voices. |

With some anime that may be the case (Hellsing has a western influence setting it which is why it works better in English), but in my opinion I still like the Japanese version because it feels more down to Earth to me and the Toonami era dub turn me off with the dub errors, the music replacement, bad dialogue and bad voice acting. Funimation's dub at the time left me a bad taste in my mouth along with many other people at the time. Not to mention I always find it odd how DBZ is one of those anime that most people like be so Americanize in English, but hate it when other franchises do the same too (I see people that want Super to be similar how DBZ was back in 1999-2003 on CN).
People are welcome to enjoy on what they enjoy. People should always give things a chance and don't hate on something because of one voice actor. The Japanese version also has good voice actors in it too if you ask me. Not to mention, I feel like most English speaking fans don't understand Goku's character too (He is not a Superhero. He has a similar origin to Superman but they have different personalities). Enjoy what you want, but I think we should drop it this debate while we still can.

Good news, Funimation is now dubbing Super. Knowing Funimation, the dub should be as good as the dub from Kai and the last two DBZ movies. Can't wait to see how they pull off the English voices for the new characters.

Seeing Vegito return is really cool. I know some fans wanted Gogeta, but Toriyama is writing the story and Toriyama probably remembers the fusion of Vegito, not Gogeta.

Vegito also makes a lot more sense since their opponent is another Potara fusion.
