I'm only seeding the first and third HD batches. I have the rest of the HD batches, but I can't seed them because of "Files missing from job". Which sucks.

I already had my nomination, but you know what would be kinda sweet for a future LWW race? The Godzilla films. Like maybe 2 a week or something.

Unless the Godzilla films are shorter than I think, 2 would be to many. 1 a week would be plenty.

Aren't there, like, 28 Godzilla films?
That'd be quite a long LWW ![]()

Current Standings exactly:
Kamen Rider OOO - 6 Kamen Rider Black - 6 Ultraman Nexus - 3 Tomica Hero Rescue Fire - 1 Power Rangers Turbo - 1 Power Rangers Jungle Fury - 1 Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger - 1 Power Rangers In Space - 1 Kamen Rider Blade - 1 Kamen Rider Kabuto - 1 Kamen Rider Kiva - 1 Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger - 1 Tensou Sentai Goseiger - 1 Kamen Rider Fourze - 1 Power Rangers RPM - 1 Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger - 1 How will we narrow it down when only 3 series have more than one vote? ![]() Honestly, if Millionfold Curiosity had already finished resubing it, I would totally be behind checking out Goseiger. But they haven't, so... |

Compared to 3 20 odd minute episodes, watching 2 movies longer than an hour would be quite the leap in how much someone would have to watch to keep up with LWW. If the average Godzilla movie is 90 minutes or so, then I think 1 a day will be plenty.

Twenty-eight weeks of Godzilla movies is a bit much to ask and more than likely to cause lost interest in following LWW. Over half a year dedicated to Godzilla would be rough, although has the potential to be enjoyable if people did stick with it.
Again, though, it's material officially licensed in the US, many of the Showa films are out of print and $50+, and Godzilla 1985 continues to be stuck in a licensing mire until at least next year. Even a DVD set or two for a series is easier to wrangle together than 28 individual DVD releases. Were everything nice and tidy like the licensing in Australia with Madman, that would be a whole other story.

Hibiki's a series that I've wanted to check out for a long time, so I figure IF it was the LWW, it would make it more of a priority. I'm not really gonna go for shows that I've either already seen (Gokaiger, Go-Busters, Kuuga, Kabuto, W (though that's been done so I don't have to worry about people nominating it ![]() Also, I feel like shows like OOO are too recent and therefore people have a)already seen it or b)they are currently or plan to watch it anyway. Shows like Hibiki I feel like would benefit more because they're not so recent and because they (in Hibiki's case) garner a very mixed reaction, so the LWW would expose those shows to people who may not have even thought of watching it. By that reasoning, I also wouldn't be against throwing a vote the way of an Ultraman show when the poll gets made up, or at a show like Blade or Black for example. Quote:

Maybe one day all the Godzilla films will be licensed for release in both the US and Australia (and other Western nations of course). One day. |
