that's what the mecha is missing the most, it could really benefit of adding a waist, but i just can't see how one could of been added without risking compromising the train modes

If the lower legs could be swapped for other colors, if they weren't so monochromatic I think it'd be close to perfect. As is it's an unbroken line from shoulder the foot that makes for some very awkward looking proportions.

I kinda like the simplistic suits. The mecha might be too simplistic, but I don't hate it.
I'm wondering, might the simplicity in the combination have to do with a special feature, like perhaps the individual trains are all capable of running along a compatible track? As I can't read Japanese, I can't tell what's actually written there about them, but maybe they were intended as functional model trains first, with the ability to combine needing to work around that? Pure speculation on my part, as I can't tell what it actually says. |
