I haven't played through any of the 5th gen games in a while, so I decided to play through White.

I'm currently at the 6th gym with this team.

I said money AND jewels (the "oops, ran out of moves, use a jewel!" message when you're about to lose). You can't buy or use more than one +5 Moves upgrade in a single game, so if you're not lucky/good enough to get it in the first try, you may need the additional backup of a jewel or two to ensure victory. Good thing there's no capture mechanic tied to the trainer battles, otherwise "catching" a Mawilite would be insane.

And for Kyogre, I caught him on my first attempt. In comparison, Charmeleon took me 3

I'm currently stuck on Mega Gengar. Biggest pain ever, makes Mawile look like a piece of cake.

Just getting coins everyday, hoping to save enough to buy some complexity -1. Why ever did I spend so much on Exp points?

So this Pokemon Shuffle... why haven't I heard of it and what exactly is it? It sounds like a online Pokemon card game.

It's a Free to Play Pokemon puzzle game, that you can download on your 3DS. The game is fun, and the use of Pokemon mechanics such as type effectiveness, and catching, put a twist on the usual puzzle game formula.

Some levels are notorious for being near impossible to beat, and as a Free to Play game, sometimes it encourages you to spend (because items make the game so much easier).

It's a ton of fun for what it is, as long as you can tolerate its free to play nature (which means you'll be forced to take the game slowly and in short bursts).

It's a freemium Pokemon puzzle game for the 3DS.
It's really fun, and can get quite difficult.
