I don't think people were as rabid for Celebii and Mew because no one had them.
There weren't people begging to trade because no one had them to trade to begin with.
Everyone who had them just gamesharked them in or glitched the games out to catch them.

Those are hacked. Legit Hoopa can't be traded on GTS because of the ribbon.
