Locke, The Next is a movie which was released before Nexus. The events of The Next take place 5 years before Nexus. There is a connection between the two Ultras, but I do not want to spoil it.

I don't think you NEED to watch The Next to watch Nexus, but it can't hurt. The Next is also really good so it's worth watching anyway.

I'm defaulting on this up to the Baltan II and Den-O as the mods to decide whether it is "officially" part of LWW or not.
