my problem with that so called picture is the back horns would dig into the persons gut, so I'm assuming this is a very early design or a fake

The design may not be 100% accurate, but there are no alternatives yet. And the frog fits thematically.

Honestly, considering how we had fruit locks, game cartridges, bottles, eyeballs, and USB drives, potato chips don't seem so ridiculous these days.

I don't think they will persay potato chips most likely its going to be in some vain like how the fruits were locks

so most likely its going to be more like a chucky looking chip that would instill into a motherboard with a snack image or something on it

Of course, it will probably be some nfc chip encased in plastic should they go that route.
