Now for Love is Bloom, I liked it. It had a sense of closure to it and fit perfectly to the scene it was match up to.

I really liked that about this arc. I liked how they made you think they were going to use the Elements of Harmony. Then they didn't use them (granted they got captured), because during that, I was afraid that they were going to use them as a "FIX EVERYTHING!" button. How little they use them gives the Elements of Harmony weight.

and if you think they pulled a "HOW MANY SINGS CAN WE FIT INTO A SINGLE STORY?!?!?" oooooh...just you wait until the season 3 finale. I'm glad you liked Love is in Bloom, That's my favorite song from the whole thing.

Me too. I wasn't crazy about it the first time around, but after listening to it a bunch of times. I really like it now.

Well, that's a sung-through musical for you. Song after song after song with little to no actual spoken lines.

Other examples are Les Misérables, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Pink Floyd-The Wall, Rent and Starlight Express.
