"School" is probably just referring to the island challenges, and upon completing all of them he'll "graduate" in some way.

More interested in the Coro Coro game leaks. Two new Ultra Beasts and Rockruff's evolution... Which is time based. And has been said previously to hold a secret related to your starter's. Maybe they have two final evolutions based on time as well?

The Ultra beasts look meh to me. The name and the designs make me think of something more out of Yugioh then Pokemon. Although I do gind it interesting that one of the type 2 looks like the Blonde lady from the science facility recently revealed.

I have few doubts that we won't be able to catch them, and fewer doubts that I'm gonna be disappointed about it. I wanna catch them all.

I guess the idea is that they're these alien, extra-dimensional beings, and "not Pokemon," but considering that an exact definition of what makes something a Pokemon has never been set in stone...I still wish they were. If alien DNA monsters can be Pokemon, why not alien jellyfish and ripped bugs?

I'd like it if part of the SM plot involved encountering and classifying these creatures as mons for the first time, which is why they wouldn't have names or be classified as Pokemon beforehand or anything.

Speaking of Ultra Beasts tho, man are some places I frequent obnoxiously filled with "Lilly is UB-01 and Lusamine is UB-02 Beauty!!!" so-called "theories." It just strikes me as a huge stretch. Not to say that they don't resemble each other, but at most I expect it to be a case of these alien beings taking on forms resembling the first humans they see or something of the sort. Though then there's Expansion...some people are saying it looks like Gladion, because I guess some people will say whatever crazy things it takes to support their pet theories. Mostly looks like a buff mosquito to me though...

Gotta wonder if Beauty and Expansion are different forms of the same UB or different ones that happen to have the same number. It looks like they're version exclusive. So maybe UB-02 is one being, but my theory is right, and in each version it meets a different person and assumes their form...?

Guess we'll find out eventually...

New Rockruff forms look decent, the Ultra Beasts continue to confuse me though, no idea what to think of those yet.

I think the best explanation for why Ultra Beasts couldn't be captured is because they're humans (And unlike Pokedex flavor text, it'd actually be relevant).
