Just rewatched the last episode of Fourze, and man...if you ever need a real tearjerker...this episode will do the trick.

All these years (and shows) later and Fourze still has one of the best finales of any Rider series in my book.

I remember people said is pretty anticlimactic that the final battle took place inside the school and the final boss turn good at the last minute. I would say O's ending is still the best neo-Heisei ending.

Fourze's finale didn't do much for me. The last minute faceturn for the final boss was really forced and unconvincing, even for a show that was based around friendship. All the stuff with Kengo was also really derivative of Philip's fate in W.

For my money, Blade still has the all-time best Rider finale. I'm also a big fan of Black's downer ending.

W and Fourze are both written by Riku Sanjo along with Drive. That's why we see the Phillip/Kengo/Chase non-human ally relationship. However, Kengo is unlikable to me. I prefer Ankh and Kyomi more. Wonder Mai counts in this category. The worst finale is always going to be Decade and probably Faiz. I guess Kamen Rider 4 is the true finale to Faiz.

Black 11-15:
I think my favorite in this bunch was Golgom's evil plan buy all the tuna they could to power up their Kaijin, depriving chefs of this delicious fish!

Finally finished Gaim. The last few episodes were really... weird, plot-wise, but I was still emotionally engaged, so I still I enjoyed them.

Dammit I would really like to see a sequel series about Micchy as the new hero. As a former villain and a really smart guy he would be a really different kind of main rider.
