GTS shenanigans snagged me three of the Ultra Beasts (spoiler tag just in case, don't know how secret it is that they're catchable anymore).

Got Pheromosa and Celesteela, so that's pleasantly the version exclusives out of the way. I also got a Kartana but since I didn't need it I traded it for a Type: Null. I'm gonna be needing a lot of those...


It's gonna be funny having the rest of the characters spend the rest of the story talking about the mystery of the Ultra Beasts when I have two of them in my PC. I haven't even cleared my fifth trial...

Not really. You get 2 of one and 4 of the other. Trading will be very easy.

Plus those you get 4 of aren't valued very highly so you can get them off the GTS fairly easily for non-legendaries. I got Pheromosa and Kartana for Passimian and Oranguru.

There's somebody that will trade you one in a Pokemon Center somewhere before then. Can't remember exactly where or what for but he exists.
