I've heard that evolving a Poliwhirl into Politoed was glitched. Evolving it causes the person who it was traded to not able to trade it back, as in it's locked out from trading.

So if you want a Politoed, you're stuck with SOS battling for one in the rain in Malie Garden or wait until PokeBank comes out.

Well, after 3 days of grief that caused numerous roadblocks, both in real life and in the games themselves, I finally finished. It was a fun game. Despite a start that made me want to bash my head against a wall, from the middle onward it was pretty solid and enjoyable~

This was also the first game since RBY where my team was constantly evolving. It's actually rather rare, since I tend to plant my feet and, aside from one or two members, my team stays quite consistent from the halfway point onward. Listed in order of relevancy.

Solgaleo (The first legendary to be part of my team since Ho-Oh during OG GSC)

I had plenty of other Pokemon on my team, but these were the only ones not intended to be filler for someone else.
So, good on you, Sun. You actually presented me with so, so, so many Pokemon that I wanted to use that I was actually forced to constantly switch and change team members.
Also, fuck you, Sun. Every other area I was forced to train up someone new (Or, in the case of Salandit, catch an entirely new one >>)

That feeling of having to hit the reset button. When your Salandit turns out to be unable to evolve, Formantis being unable to carry their weight, learning that you can't evolve Charjabug for another whole island, making you have to bench it, and you just felt comfortable enough to box away the Trumbeak that you weren't even using anymore...
Man, it sucked to basically have a 2 mon team (Primarina, then Brionne, and Oricorio)

I loved Team Skull, too. They were silly, like Flare, but didn't take themselves seriously (Rather, the game didn't) so they weren't eye-rolling~

The 4th Island, Poni Island, in the Vast Poni Canyon.
I think the canyon in specific is walled off until you beat the Kahuna, though.
I could be wrong, however, since despite the Canyon being effing huge, the map doesn't mark it as it's own individual area, so you may be able to evolve it prior to the Kahuna fight and I was just dumb.
