Okay, Pokémon doesn't really have story beats or really an overarching plot, how the heck do you condense it down to its "important bits?" There's not big bad beaten at the end of the Indigo league, our hero loses before the Semi-Finals, which doesn't seem like something you want to end a movie on.

Don't get upset with the first teaser it just the start of the 20th movie hype.

I am very interested to see what this movie will have in it. Since it has the same title as the first pokemon anime ep Pokémon I choose you.

Ash-Pikachu forms and Pikashunium Z confirmed as the events for 2017, I guess. Marshadow saved for 2018.

First the games and anime taking a new direction and now the movies. Finally a movie that isn't about Ash befriending the mythical Pokemon of the year!

Make Gary a relevant figure. Have Ash lose to him instead of Ash 2, I mean New Ash, I mean...Ritchie.
I get the point of why Ash lost to Ritchie (It was to show that he's kind of a bad trainer), but it made Gary kind of irrelevant to even appear during the league.

Honestly, there are 8 "Important bits" in the anime, those being the gyms (Well...7, since the final gym was just another Team Rocket fight). I just don't know how they'll show them off.
If anything, I desperately pray they don't pull an Origins and go "Oh yeah, he beat them, too" and move on.

Currently evolving as much of my Mons as I can before the National Dex drops and that becomes a pipe dream at best. In addtion to Porygon-Z I want Magmortar but GTS is being fucking awful about getting one.

To the people that only want Legendarys, UBs and the overrated Archen line: please try to consider that not everyone is an utter ass like yourselves.

I just finished training my shiny Primarina named Ashley.

So at this point I'm just evolving the Alolan Pokémon I have to complete the dex.
