Anyone who has the chaser set find the wings to be impossible to keep on the figure?
They are way to heavy for that little connection...mine just fall off over and over again. I have even futured the peg giving it more grip. It's not the friction of the peg that seems to be the issue, it's just the wings being so dang heavy I ended up throwing them back in the package out of sheer annoyance |

I got Rider 3 in the mail today and I'm very happy with my figure. He looks great and I have no QC issues on mine. I still haven't seen his movie yet, but I'm glad that I bought him.

got AmiAmi and N-Y shipments today, some quick thoughts
SHF Kamen Rider 3: I like the source design. It's retro and very "Showa" to me, but i like the colors and little touches, like the broken chains on his wrists and ankles, and the thrusters on his hips. The SHF is faithful to all of these details, and adds effects parts for the Rider Kick and thrusters. No visible paint issues or joint looseness. Just an all-around solid release. SHF Tune Chaser set: Lots of stuff in this package, so it has play value. As observed by others when this was first announced, it is NOT screen accurate, but I'm ok with that. There is one transformable piece that converts from Tail Whipper to Fang Spidey with some minor parts forming, plus a neat effects part for an energy beam. The wings have a huge wingspan. It's very backheavy, but does come with a Tamashii stage and special attachments. Makes for a pretty cool display. Pricey but I dig it, and Drive SHF's are all high quality SHF War Machine V2 Flat-black and silver repaint of Iron Patriot, so not much to say. As with all the SHF Iron Man releases, this has lots of heft, clean sculpt, a shitload of effects parts and plenty of hands. My biggest beef is that its difficult to get it to stay on a Tamashii stage since it's so heavy, and it's also thick at the waist. A custom attachment would help immensely on all releases in this subline (frankly, with all Avengers releases except Cap) SHF Cherry Energy Sigurd This bastard from Gaim was much anticipated and the sculpt does not disappoint. There have been lots of Gaim releases, and this version of the SHF body is exceptional. The main difference here is that there are added detail parts on the forearms and lower legs to replicate the, i guess wolf skin? or whatever coverings that Sigurd had. They capture the texture pretty well, but the forearm pieces DO restrict wrist movement. They do not appear removable. I really wish it came with a hat. Otherwise, another good Gaim release (there have been no bad ones; the only complaints are that maybe you want more accessories and more releases!) SHF Horse Orphnoch I know little about Faiz, but this design impressed me. In-hand, the paint and finish are amazing; it looks and sorta feels like primer, WITH some neat weathering type effect to it. Only two accessories (sword and shield) and and six total hands but having not watched the show i don't know what else would make sense. standard good articulation for SHF. I like having bad guy SHF's so you can actually get a fight scene out of them

But yeah, some dry brushed detail would've been nice, but I like the clean look too. |
