I've not really followed Mass Effect since the utter disappointment of the third game.

Kinda says it right there in the image...
It's still fun. I just stop playthroughs after the Citadel DLC concludes.

I saw in the image, but the outlines looked really low res so I didn't know whether it was a teaser for something extra.

So is Left Behind worth getting then, gang? I'm almost done with Last of Us and it's not a great 'game' but it does tell a wonderful story.

Last Leg of Last of Us.
I was honestly surprised by how selfish, and near evil, Joel was in this final leg. I know the lines are blurred in a world like this, and it's ultimately about personal survival, but this is one of the few moments in the game that just aren't justifiable. Obviously seeing him grow to love Ellie is wonderful but wow bro, calm down. Overall Last of Us is one of the most richly immersive gaming experiences I've had since playing BioShock the first time. Sadly the punishing difficultly and clunky mechanics makes every fond memory of the title tainted with frustration. It isn't a touch on BioShock Infinite which was simultaneously my favourite title of 2013 and one of the best games I've ever played but at least in parts Last of Us actually lives up to the hype train that comes before it and that has to count for something.

Spoilers for a future haul pic but I recently got Tales of Symphonia Chronicles so I've been playing the first game again. I paid 20 bucks for it, so that seemed like a real good value proposition for two Tales games.
I don't know why, but back when this game first came out I remember it being my least favrioute Tales of game. But I'm playing through the opening act and it seems fine, having gone through Xillia and Graces F(both of which I still need to finish) it's nice to experience the classic Tales of battle system again. Nice thing is: they give you bonus costumes if you already have save files for Xillia and Graces F. Other than the English dub work being so-so, the game is fine. I can't remember why I didn't really like it that much back then. Although, Lloyd Irving's English voice actor was disturbingly familiar….and it turns out that he also did Robin in Teen Titans. The things you find out with the magic of google. Last edited by Kiryu; 05-18-2014 at 10:48 PM.. |

I've played more Project X Zone, 27 hours in and I am only halfway done, I love this game. =)
Also played more Battride War, Faiz with his Axel form is a total beast now. He is cheap as hell. |
