Why is nobody talking about the Pokemon presentation today?

Looks like Pokemon's getting experimental, and I am SO excited for it.

Because it's 4th Gen, the only Gen of Pokemon I outright dislike.

Although maybe the remakes will fix that, who knows?

I'm... kind of nonplussed. Like, I don't think either of the big new projects are bad per se, but I'm happy to sit them out. I did think the video's opening presentation was really cute though—not Acacia levels of cute (I absolutely cried when I first saw that video), but cute nonetheless.

Pokémon Legends seriously seriously has me excited! It finally feels like we're getting something new that's not going through the motions; this is the most unique Pokémon's felt since Colosseum

I guess that makes sense.

I've never even played Gen 4. I'm only excited because Pokemon is trying something new. I'll never agree with the people who think Pokemon is getting worse, but they also haven't been trying to improve. Except now, they're finally trying to do something new for the first time in ages. Which is kind of a big deal.

Gen 4 is my childhood gen and the one I love, so they're really trying to get on my good side here with everything shown off. The DP remakes I'm going to need a bit more time and a LOT more information before I know how I feel, though.

Like, the last few generations were fine and all, but THIS.

I knew I wanted something different from Pokemon, but I didn't know what until today.
