If they do GOTG then won't Bluefin have issues releasing them in the US similar what happen with the Iron Man figuarts? Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors are such random choices too. I can kinda understand Adventure Time, but I never heard of Bravest Warriors until recently.

I wasn't interested in the Iron Man Figuarts. Marvel Legends has been such a good line recently IMO that I don't feel the need for Figuarts of their heroes. Even if they're as good as you say, why should they get both Marvel Legends & Figuarts? Other American franchises don't get to have too many good figures of either line's quality, & Marvel's characters get both? Just seems unfair & a little redundant to me.

You guys can have your Marvel figuarts, I want something else. What I really want is: Titanfall, Cowboy Bebop, and Fairy Tail figuarts. I want a damn Spike Spiegel figure, damn it!

I personally hope that the Titans would be better off in the S.H MonsterArts line in my opinion. They are monsters and their large size would be perfect for the SH MA line in my opinion. I still wish the Aliens and Predators were Figuarts then MonsterArts because their size compare to the Figuarts look off when they are humanoid characters. I want to do Shin Kamen Rider vs. Predator on display, but the sizes makes it hard for me to do it.

What do you guys think about Bluefin Tamashii Nations survey at NYCC? Credit goes to Den-O for posting this on Twitter.
![]() A lot of cool choices. I notice a lot of American/European choices like Judge Dredd, Mortal Kombat, Adventure Time, Game of Thrones and Bravest Warriors. I guess Bluefin is trying to expanding the Figuarts market that exists outside of japan. I guess the Injustice figuarts are another attempt made to the US market similar how the S.H MonsterArts figures and the DBZ figuarts are. My thoughts exactly. Quote:

...Shit. I just realized that the characters I like in Street Fighter aren't the "Main" characters. So unless it's Ryu, Chun-Li, or titties, it won't ever get a possible release.
Sagat! Q! M. Bison/Vega/Dictator/Whatever! *Cries* TFW It's not even something confirmed or anything ![]()

Who cares about a BlueFin poll, even without its bizarre choices?
This isn't the first poll they've put out and when have they ever actually achieved anything? Remember the "Which Power Rangers do you want next?" or the "Which Kaiju do you want next?". None of them ever happened. |

Meh, not really interested in any proproties on that list to be honest.
It's pointless conjecture anyways, since polling aren't really guarentees that those figures will ever exist or see the light of day for that matter. |

While I think Figuarts-level Doctor Who figures would be incredible, I just don't trust Bluefin or Bandai with the brand at all at the moment. For a start their presence in Europe is extremely poor, so unless they literally offer the BBC a ton of money or sort themselves out the UK isn't going to see much benefit of it. Yes that's a bit of a personal issue, but I don't see them handling a UK-based property if they can't handle it in the UK well. On top of that I think Doctor Who is still very much a cult thing in Japan (it certainly isn't the level of popularity it has in the West), so while Bluefin still have to go through Bandai of Japan I doubt the higher ups are going to see it as having much profit for them.
On the production side of things, this isn't like an anime franchise - it's live action and they've never really handled this before. It won't be a case of just buying some rights, they have to buy actor likeness rights and get the sculpts looking good as well. If they were to do it I can totally only see them doing the new series Doctors (and even then I think they'd skip Eccleston because GOTTA HOOK THE TENNANT FANS) and then lazily call it a day. Then we have the monsters, in which again I'd fully expect Bluefin to only really cover the modern series because they'll believe that's the only thing that'll sell. And to be honest, the new series doesn't have that many iconic monsters that would be worth making articulated figures of. Cybermen, Silurians and Sontarans are about it, and they're all new iterations of classic monsters. When you get to Daleks and Weeping Angels they're pretty much going to be Figuarts ZEROS, and some fans are stupid enough to not buy them simply because of that. If I've learnt anything from NYCC its Bluefin are only interested in what's hot. So if they were to get Doctor Who I'd expect them to put about 2-3 figures at the most and then move onto something else. And that isn't really the right attitude to have when at the very least fans are going to demand 12/13 figures from them to begin with.

Personally I think if ANYTHING on that list is going to see the light of day, it'll be Freddy Mercury or Pacific Rim, since they've expressed interest in both of those things before. I think Guardians could happen to, I mean we are getting Iron Man stuff, so getting more Marvel from Bandai I think could happen. I think Street Fighter COULD happen, and I'd love to see it, since that property deserves good toys (as does Mortal Kombat, but I don't know how popular it is in Japan), and they've dealt with Capcom previously, so that might help things.
