Gashat, I need serious help. I haven't started painting yet, but I bought Mr Colors for hand painting, although I heard they're not suited for hand painting? But I really don't have the room/spare money for airbrush atm so now I'm stuck. Do I need to buy a thinner for hand painting it?

There wasn't an exact release date just that they will try to release this year. But this was before the lockdowns and stuff, so there is a good chance it won't come out till next year. Which I am fine with as long as they take their time with the game.

My good buddy has now left back to upstate. The time went by way too fast, but it was great being able to see him again. We played DnD, he watched two episodes of the GARO anime with me, he showed me a bunch of funny YT vids, and we spent alot of time talking and catching up. Time well spent, I'd say.

I usually use $2 acrylic paints from a local craft store neear my house. Granted, they're not exactly the best results in the world and I'm thinking of upgrading to Tamiya. You might want to find tutorials online as different brands might need different techniques.

If you're starting off painting, use acrylic-based paint (like Tamiya), not enamel. Enamel paint requires thinner so it doesn't eat through your Gunpla's plastic and is quite possibly hazardous to your health when wet.

EDIT 2: Oh, also, I just found out that Mr Colors are lacquer paints, which explain the need for thinner. However, lacquer paint fumes are toxic to humans and are usually used by professionals. Ahh so all I need is a thinner and I'm good to go, even if it's handpainting. I really wanted Tamiya, but I saw Mr Hobby having both Pearl White and Metallic Red and thought they're acrylics (since unlike Tamiya who explicitly states if it's acrylic or enamel). I did saw a video of handpainting using Mr Color and all you need is a thinner. I ordered 2 bottles of 50ml already.

None given at the moment but Bandai is persistent on a 2020 release. According to GameStop the game is set to be released on 12/31/2020.
