Ah...ok. I understand.
Personally I think if ANYTHING on that list is going to see the light of day, it'll be Freddy Mercury or Pacific Rim, since they've expressed interest in both of those things before. I think Guardians could happen to, I mean we are getting Iron Man stuff, so getting more Marvel from Bandai I think could happen. I think Street Fighter COULD happen, and I'd love to see it, since that property deserves good toys (as does Mortal Kombat, but I don't know how popular it is in Japan), and they've dealt with Capcom previously, so that might help things.

What do you guys think about Bluefin Tamashii Nations survey at NYCC? Credit goes to Den-O for posting this on Twitter.
![]() A lot of cool choices. I notice a lot of American/European choices like Judge Dredd, Mortal Kombat, Adventure Time, Game of Thrones and Bravest Warriors. I guess Bluefin is trying to expanding the Figuarts market that exists outside of japan. I guess the Injustice figuarts are another attempt made to the US market similar how the S.H MonsterArts figures and the DBZ figuarts are. |

Of the properties listed the only stand out ones I'd want Bandai to get a hold of are Pacific Rim & Cardcaptor Sakura. While Guardians SHF's would be nice they might be better served as Figmas. But even then Hasbro has the lock down on Marvel figures being released in the US, it's why the Iron Man SHF's are so hard to get here and the Figma Avengers too.
Pac Rim is a no brainer to me but it probably won't happen any time soon. After the excellent work they've done with the Sailor Moon license though I would kill for Cardcaptor Sakura figuarts from Bandai. But AGAIN. This poll is more or less irrelevant. It's the exact same poll with the exact same choices that were at SDCC. As previous Bluefin polls have proven, they don't take them into account much at all. People vote for the items on there hoping they happen, but the ranger polls clearly didn't get us anything other than MMPR. And these choices are much further apart than even ranger seasons are. But at the the end of the day, Bluefin does not make the final decision on what's produced. That's Bandai of Japan and the actual Tamashii Nations. So if they plan to grab these licenses that's one thing, Bluefin I doubt has much of any influence on what they actually acquire.

I just don't see the point in doing it when none of it is ever going to happen.

What the hell is Bravest Warriors anyway?
And Edward Scissorhands seems quite random. |

Having just seen the prototype of Figma's Cardcaptor Sakura, I don't think there's much Bandai could do to top it to be honest.

Exactly. I just feel that Bandai would complete the line much more so than the likely 1 or 2 figmas we'll get. But oh well.

Out of everything on that list, Street Fighter seems to be the most fesable to happen and I will be shocked if it doesn't at one point.

Mortal Kombat is not very popular in Japan. They did release the first three games including the upgrades of MK3 and they didn't seem to do very well over there back in the 90's. Street Fighter has a better chance given it's a Japanese franchise that's popular in both Japan and America.
