I don't watch Who nor do I really want to so my observation is kinda moot, but I keep thinking of a heroic genderbent Green Goblin whenever I see you guys say "Osgood."

Just want to say with a very general statement that I did not enjoy the finale very much.

I don't get the hate of thee finales. Except for Season 7's finale, they all have been utterly fantastic. I think I might rate this one as my 4th favorite finale, bumping the finale to S6 to the fifth spot, but it still did not top either of the three Tennant finales. Well, maybe...

Personally, I will always feel that The Big Bang - series five's finale - is possibly my favorite single episode of Doctor Who ever.

Honestly this was the first finale I've felt really let down by. RTD's always kinda fell apart at the end but were extremely enjoyable until then, and while I don't remember them quite as fondly even season 6 and 7's were among the highlights of what were otherwise pretty average seasons.
Big Bang was fantastic though, well aside from the whole Dalek mercy bit. Doesn't top Parting of the Ways as my favourite, but in terms of craft I'd say its the best one.

I was loving the new season. I was loving every episode, every damn episode. And now they killed Osgood. And I don't care anymore. And no, I will not let it go. >_<

Well, I've had some time to think and get my ideas in order. I have some points to make: Damn you Moffat for killing Osgood, and damn you for leaving both our heroes so unhappy. Even if Clara's coming back for the Xmas special, she deserves better. Damn you.
2) Cyber-Brig still feels off, but I don't mind as much as long as he becomes a force of justice. Basically, Iron Man. 3) No way in hell has Missy been perma-killed. Overall, the series has been bery iffy. Episodes like Mummy on the Orient Express and Flatline were really good, but there were ones like Listen and Kill the Moon that really weren't so good. The finale feels especially epresentativee of that fact- it still feels... meh. Not good, not bad, just... meh. Overall, this series, while being miles better than 7 or 6b, is still not going to be my favourite. Even though Mummy makes it into my Top 10 list ![]() |
