Well, it's not helped that the imprint of MLP on general public is that of G3 (Not even the adventure based G1, but fashion models and terrible designs of G3), so it's quite jaw dropping to wonder how a grown man can like this show by only watching the intro (Not the episode, mind you. Just the opening theme).

I get hit by my brother for even mentioning the damn thing. He's always trying to talk me out of watching the show, you should've seen when I told him I finished the third season.

I do get flak for watching Power Rangers, but less than I expected. Then again, I also got flak once for liking Batman. That was before the Chris Nolan movies came out and nobody would believe me that Batman was seriously awesome because all they saw were Adam West's and Joel Schumacher's Batmen (while I watched the Animated Series, Justice League and read the comics).

This reminds me of the time when people saw my relatively small toy collection and one guy remarked how he had an uncle who was the same as me and probably had a bit of an identity crisis.

I actually couldn't escape Batman. In my circle of friends, it was "Batman wins [X] fight because he's Batman."
I'm not a big Batman fan anymore because of the rampant fanboying over him these days...

I love the shows he gets. The Animated series and BATB were awesome (And, to a lesser extent, The Batman. The first Burton film and TDK are also great, but the character just makes me roll my eyes these days.

Powerpuff Girls and Atomic Betty, however, weren't girls' shows.

I know that feeling, now everyone's like Batman this and Batman that and I act all hipster-like and say, "I liked him before he was cool."
