I thought Artworks statues were close to Figuarts scale but as it turns out they're closer to SIC height.

Oh boy, I just did something I shouldn't have. Mandrake just had a Figuarts Battle Hopper on sale for 9,000Y, so I couldn't resist.

I was eyeing that one myself. But that's only about 1000 yen less than they normally tend to go for. There was an Acrobatter up last week as well. It's just really hard to pull the trigger for a bike that I won't do much with.

Yeah, and Acrobatter is the reason I broke at 9,000Y. Acro was on there last week for 10,000Y and I did not think it would sell. To my surprise, it was gone in just a few hours. As such, I guess that is what people are willing to pay, so I figured it would be best to just dump the 9000Y just in case. I know I probably won't do much with it, but I am a big Black fan and have been wanting the bike since I found out one was made lat July.

BTW, so Diamond finally shipped to my local comic store my Super-1 order. At least, they listed it as Super-1 on the order form, but shipped them Ryuki Survive mode. I have no idea what the hell was going on, nor does my comic shop, but when I can afford to pick him up, I have a Ryuki Survive waiting for me.

Yeah I love Black as well and would really love to have both bikes but it's not a top priority for me unless they magically hit 7000

Diamond is a quirky bastard of a company. I can't deny that I've gotten a lot of great deals thanks to them but they are pretty bad most of the time. They shipped me Ryuki Survive 3 weeks earlier than his release date and Knight Survive 1 week later so i wound up getting them Super-1 and the W reissue all on the same day. Had I looked on the retailer site just the previous day I would have seen 4 separate release dates for those figures. Their distribution is total nonsense.

Ryuki Survive and Knight for that matter are damn nice figures though. You will not be disappointed.

I know I won't be disappointed, but I wasn't planning to buy the Survive modes until I have all 13 riders and their contract monsters.
