Uh, what?
Like Kiryu said, Figma have done TONS of magical girls. They released the Madoka cast TWICE, and there's been a fair amount of Nanoha figures too. I don't know why both companies have chosen now to release their Sakuras, but it other than the timing it isn't really that much of a left field release for them. Mind you it's still a very good figure, it's just starting to show its age a bit.

Unless Force were to get an anime I doubt they'll bother with it. Last edited by algo448; 10-21-2014 at 09:18 PM.. |

And the big Figuart reveal for March is... Cardcaptor Sakura!
http://tamashii.jp/special/pickup/201503bbmk/ Why is Bandai making Sakura? I thought Bandai/Bluefin said they don't like clashing with other companies, so why are they suddenly directly clashing with Max Factory?

Blaziken came in today.
TLDR: Yeah it's pretty cool, but I'll always have preferred a regular one over the Mega. Stage is badass though. The head seems really, really big... but the rest of it seems proportionally fine. Nothing else seems terribly off. I like the way that the flames were handled too. They're a very soft plastic, so won't expect to be easily breaking them. Color-wise they could have benefited from some more orange though. Articulation's what you expect - can do anything really. And the forearms are on their own piece below the elbow so the flames can swivel out of the way too. The fingers are a pretty nice unique point to it; much better than the others we've gotten since the articulation's actually useful. And if you want to for kicking poses, even the toes can move. But he totally stands on the giant fur bell bottoms. Which is totally fine since it means Blaziken can stand on its own quite well, something not all the Pokémon can say lol. And as for everyone's favorite part of all of the Pokémon, I'm sure... the freaking gigantic Poke Ball stand! Except this time I'm actually excited for it! ![]()
