The casting is just absolutely spot on. Charlie Cox is without a doubt Matt Murdock. His mannerisms and the way he talks is perfectly done. I can totally see that guy not just do the dark take on DD but also some of the more lighthearted stuff like wearing a shirt that reads "I´m not Daredevil".

We watched the first five episodes to Dare Devil today and they are all right. You can definitely tell this is the first season because they haven't figured out what they really want to do with anything yet. I do feel it is taking a little too long for Matt to take the name DareDevil and give us his damn costume. On the other hand, I like the things that are happening with Fisk, and right now, he is the best thing about the show. The acting is decent, but the female characters seem to have the same bad writing as they do in the DC stuff. I guess these writers just don't know how to write strong female characters in anything these days. Oh, and I know the comics were violent, but this is a little excessive at times. Finally, I do love the subtle hints at the movies, especially the Magic Hammer and Iron Suit comment from one of the Russians. I definitely want to watch more, but I'm glad this is not a weekly series otherwise it might not have my patience.

I'm glad that the new Spider-Man movie is skipping the origin story. All they need to do is make mention of which origin their following and continue on. I'm even alright with him being in High School, which makes me think it's Ultimate Spider-Man.

They've played with my heartstrings so much this season, especially in the last two episodes, what with the fighting and the hand-holding and the fake-fighting and the #@$%ing sandwich...

I'm sorry man but it goes without saying that you just must hate great things. You're so far the only person I've seen whose had anything less than praise for this show. Daredevil is hands down one of if not THE best comic adaptation ever. This show is the total package. A beautiful inhabited world, relatable flawed characters, incredible action, gritty drama, and a very compelling narrative between right and wrong and the choices & consequences that lie within it. It's just fantastic. I fail to see how anyone could have anything other than a stellar reaction to this show. There was a clear gameplan from the outset and the plot builds every episode, which makes your complaints about it very puzzling to me. In 13 episodes this show has told a better story than most series do across multiple seasons.

I have only watched 3 episodes of Daredevil so far and I absolutely love it. I am a huge Daredevil fan too so this is like a huge nerdgasm for me. So I'm guessing it gets even better after the first 3? Because that is music to my ears.

I am not ready to say it's my favorite comic book show yet but I am loving the hell out of it.

I have seen the praises and I'm starting to think I am watching a different show from you guys. Hell, my friends that were over were fangasming the entire time. My girlfriend, on the other hand, was bored to death. I'm enjoying it, but there are things the show is doing that is making it hard for me to just praise the hell out of it.

Also, I've only seen the first five episodes so far, so I'm betting things will get even better over the next few. I love the actors, the concepts behind it, and Fisk, but I feel like the pacing is off. The action scenes are cool, but I really want to see him put on the red mask and take out his staff/cane/batons, at least the later, already. It could also be that while I enjoy the character of DD, I'm not that big of a fan of him.

I'd say it is on par with Arrow Season 1 but only half as good as Flash's first season. It is way better than Gotham or Agents of Shield though.

All they have to do is show his origin in the opening credits ala The Incredible Hulk.

He's not required to like the same things you do, so don't demean him by claiming he hates great things just because he doesn't love this show as much as you.

I love the show, but I'm not going around telling people "they're wrong" because we don't share the same tastes.
