I can understand why they want to portray Digimon a bit more mature but it’s not working for me. I honestly would’ve preferred this storyline in the style of the older shows, with more things happening each episode and some side plots. You can tell me I do not understand the spirit of this or whatever, but from what I get this is supposed to be the nostalgia bomb for the now grown-up fans of the original series, I’m a now grown-up fan of the originals series and I think this sucks. I hate how they cramp the mega evolutions in there but it doesn’t matter. Like, HerculesKabuterimon does literally nothing worth noting; at least Vikemon and Rosemon kicked some ass.

And I do not feel the reboot thing, at all. Who else expects this is all for nothing and the current Digiworld they’re in is fake, including "their" Digimon partners?

Wasn't Tamers and to an extent Frontier already a mature take on Digimon already?

Said you did not enjoy it as part 3 been in mix bag to some really enjoy it and said it was better b then first two. The fact is enjoyed it and found it emotional.

It won't surprise me if Saban dubs Digimon Universe soon since it's the Digimon made for younger kids to buy toys while Tri is for the older fans.

Fusion flopped hard enough that they didn't even do Hunters. I doubt they're all too eager to pick up a new Digimon.

Well there is an english dub coming i just don't think Saban is behind it.

I remember Saban has control over the Digimon series outside of Japan. Digimon Fusion seems to be dead, but I think they will probably air it on Nick Toons.

So far i don't know what to make of Digimon Universe, it seems okay so far but there's this vibe of 'let's be Yokai watch!' that sticks out to me.
