Hm, if the order is that big, EMS or DHL might work best. That sounds like it might be a bit too much for SAL size restrictions. BTW, are those all one store? I don't mean to sound condescending, but if you're getting from different stores that have listings on Mandarake, you'll get hit with multiple shipping charges.

Yeah, I just stupidly bought the Fourze Modules 1 and 2, Machine Massingler, and Display Stand from Mandrake not realizing it was going to be $105 once all was said and converted. I'm kicking myself for not canceling my order.

Yeah, that stuff adds up. The $80 from just two figures was enough to make me cancel.

I understand the frustration but how exactly do you expect them to quote you shipping beforehand? Depending on the number of items and weight the shipping whill be wildly different. They couldn't possibly give it to you up front because they have no idea what their costs will be for time and shipping supplies. A good rule of thumb is that one Figuart costs around 2000 yen to ship EMS. EMS is based on weight so you can roughly estimate it that way. SAL is a fraction of that cost and incredibly easy to use as well. All of their shipping methods are protected and include tracking.

I'm not blaming Mandarake.
But the air of "It's cheaper" isn't entirely true when the only shipping options it gave me when I ordered were EMS or DHL.

SAL can only be used with certain payment methods apparently. Although I use paypal to pay for it all the time? Its some weird glitch that let's me use paypal to pay for my SAL stuff. A SAL order can generally be under 1000 for 2 figures whereas EMS or DHL would be over double that.
