So folks, I need to catch up on SO-DO. I'm trying to decide where to start. I want the genesis riders (and the other p-bandai gaim sets, since I missed those pre-orders), saber waves 5 through 7, both den-o waves, double, kuuga wave 2 and one of the bikes, and all 3 waves of gaim... which is a lot tbh. So where do y'all think I should start?

Hmm that is a lot to collect. I recommend starting with the older releases as things start to get harder to find. I don't think SO-DO and similar candy toys are exactly reissued like regular toys.

I'd also recommend starting with the older toys because, unless you really love slathering your figures in topcoat nail polish, the stickers are going to be adhesive-less if you wait too long. I did some Build figures last year that had stickers that were so unadhesive, they weren't even really stickers anymore, just colored paper I was massaging a toy with. If you put off those Den-O or Double ones much longer, it's just going to be a miserable experience trying to sticker them.

That is interesting. Not long ago I picked up a toy made in the 90s, sealed in box with stickers. The stickers still stuck great. Probably different quality. But yeah, get to those older releases!

Jungle just stocked a bunch of Den-O bodies and armor sets today

So I've gotten 3/4 of the Blade crew together (and they look great), and I was wondering - what's the best place to get Blade himself? He's going for 1500 Yen on Manda, and that's more than I'd want to pay for one little candy guy on his own.

It's alright! I unboxed Kenzaki just earlier today! At least, he says he's Kenzaki, and that h's just managed to upgrade to Blade "Gamer" Form.
