There's no way I can pick anyone but Basco as my favourite. Barizorg and Damaras were excellent too, but Basco really stuck out to me as a 'real' villain. Its a pity he was the last villain left in the last episode. That being said I did enjoy the emperor taking on Gai one-handed while sitting on his throne

As for action commanders it definitely has to go to the sneaking brothers, since that episode had me laughing more than any other.

Sure Basco would be number one for most of us, but obviously Jealoushitto was great. I also liked Barizorg quite a bit.
