I just realised what's off about this figure.
The mouth is red/pink. None of the Kaiju have any red or pink on them. That's actually the rule of designing them. His mouth should be dark and the inside blue. |

So are none of the Pacific Rim toys worth buying then?

There's no Coyote Tango toy, yet.
Series 1 Gipsy Danger Crimson Typhoon Knifehead Series 2 Battle Damage Gipsy Danger with chain sword Striker Eureka Leatherback And by the way, after seeing the film I picked up all of series 1. Articulation aside, these are some great figures.

Typhoon is by far the best of the 3. Though the forward right arm on mine has a frozen ball joint. The ball that's inside the arm itself is completely stuck. Trying to do the freeze trick to pop it out of place.

Can your's actually support it's own weight? I tried to have mine stand with the legs extended but they crumple from the weight. Maybe mine just has loose joints...

The legs collapse easily but it can hold poses pretty well. So no real complaints.
